Rosario Cappello was born in Ragusa on December 10 many years ago and from an early age he showed a natural predisposition for drawing and painting, so much so that by participating in a competition created by the warehouses of the "Standa" era, reserved for children talented, he achieved the first prize on that occasion, consisting of a box of assorted colors that gave him the opportunity to experiment with his chromatic skills and his innate talent in capturing and representing nature in all its essence.After the first exposures to exhibitions and painting competitions, with works in which he represents the "beauty" of nature and glimpses of simple life, obtaining excellent results from benevolent media criticism on articles in some local newspapers, in which he is defined:",,, artist who paints with the colors of life...", attributing to his art "... profound analogies in describing the strength of an indomitable nature with colors...", and again "... Rosario Cappello, through his colors, immediately clarifies his language, emanating that color of intense and profoundly divine life..."However, over time, Rosario has occupied himself with something else, establishing himself in a brilliant career related to his university studies in economics.Nevertheless, he remains overwhelmed by the love for painting that he always continues to cultivate, even if a little secluded, however raising the qualitative bar of his works, elevating the pictorial representations in a riot of colors of pure veristic expressionism, through the skilful use of "clean" oil colors and compact brushstrokes that impress the natural balance of light on the pictorial representation.Today Rosario, with his attentive gaze and his variegated palette, represents nature and life in his canvases, capturing the essence of the soul.The Volume "Historical Atlas: of the city of Ragusa, by Giovanni Di Stefano published by "Supernova" dedicates a prominent place to the artist Rosario Cappello on page 301.--
